Plain-language terms for using TermDecode.

Study Use Only

TermDecode is a study reference for medical terminology, word parts, and abbreviation safety. Its definitions, pronunciations, and safety notes are compiled for education and are provided in good faith. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment guidance, or a substitute for clinical judgment, institutional policy, or instructor direction.

No Warranty

Content may be simplified for learning and can lag behind current clinical practice or local conventions. Always defer to your coursework, institution, and licensed professionals. TermDecode is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and we accept no liability for losses arising from its use.

Your Data

Study progress, bookmarks, and quiz history live in your browser storage - there is no account and no server database. Clearing site data removes them. See Privacy for details on analytics and payments.

Premium

TermDecode is free to use. Optional Premium is offered as a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase; checkout is handled by RevenueCat (Web Billing) and Stripe and is subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime from the link in your receipt email; lifetime is a one-time payment. See Premium for what is included and for current prices.

Refunds

Not happy with a purchase? Email socialreminderinfo@gmail.com within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:

  • the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
  • your access code, shown on the Premium page while you are signed in on the browser you purchased from
  • roughly when you purchased, and which plan (weekly, yearly or lifetime)
  • the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy

That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have.
